The Wolf Hybrid
Wolf dog hybrids, or wolfdogs, are very common in this country. They are also becoming increasingly popular in many other areas of the world. Ignorance, fear, and misunderstanding by humans are just a few problems these animals, created by man, share with their more wild counterpart, the wolf.

Some people hate them, some people love them, most are ignorant of what they are like and few know what special needs they have. The following pages will hopefully help those who have an interest, or have a concern, about wolfdog hybrids.

For information about training or finding a trainer to help with your animal, you might want to try the APDT website. Most trainers there use positive reward training techniques, but it would be up to you to ask. Also, not every trainer is willing to work with a wolfdog.
